Background:
In December 2015, President Xi Jinping attended the opening ceremony of the Johannesburg Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. At the meeting, Chairman Xi announced that in order to promote the establishment of China-Africa comprehensive strategic partnership, China will implement the "Top Ten Cooperation Plans" and speed up the process of industrialization and agricultural modernization in Africa in the next three years.
In order to implement President Xi Jinping's promise to Africa, deepen the development of the African market and promote international capacity cooperation, the China Council for the Promotion of International Cooperation, China-Africa Development Fund, Kenya Investment Authority, Kenya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation, held the 2017 China Africa Capacity Cooperation Exhibition from December 13 to 16 at the Kenyatta International Conference Center in Nairobi, Kenya.
This exhibition is the first time of CCPIT host a capacity-building exhibition in Africa. It is an important step in implementing the achievements of Chairman Xi Jinping's "Top Ten Cooperation Plans", and the achievement of "Belt and Road" summit on international cooperation, and the promoting cooperation in international capacity and equipment manufacturing action.
It is reported that 56 exhibitors from 18 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, including China Telecom, China Unicom, State Grid, China Communications Construction Group and many other Chinese top 500 enterprises, fully displayed our country's achievements in communications, railways Road, infrastructure and other industries. This shows China's fruitful achievements in promoting Africa's interoperability and integration and helping Africa achieve sustainable development.
