The ceremony of the 30th anniversary of Furukawa Electric Xi’an Optical Communication Co., Ltd was grandly held in Xi’an on 22nd July, 2016. More than 200 persons, from Government officials, Company leaders to representatives from the industry Association and the media attended the ceremony. Jianlin Qian, vice CEO of Hentong Group, Co.Ltd delivered a fancy speech. He encouraged the staff from Furukawa Electric Xi’an Optical Communication Co., Ltd to “being vigilant in peace time” and prepared for any challenge in the next 30 years for the Company.
Furukawa Electric Xi’an Optical Communication Co., Ltd is a Sino-Japan equity joint venture company. It’s the first optical fiber & cable production & business company in China which was founded in July, 1986. We are the predecessor of the china optical communication industry.
The Company is located in No. 18 Information Road New Industrial Park High-Tech Industrial Development Zone Xi’an. The factory covers an area of 65200㎡. The optical fiber’s current annual manufacturing capacity is about 5 million core kilometers. The optical cable’s current annual manufacturing capacity is about 5 million core kilometers. It is the largest optical fiber & cable manufacturing base in northwest.
In the ceremony, the company also awarded its excellent staffs for their contribution to the Company’s achievements.
