During 9th to 11th in May, 2016, Optical Society of America (OSA) and Chinese Society for Optical Engineering together held the Commemoration Meeting of "50th Anniversary of the Invention of Optical Fibre" at China National Convention Center in Beijing.
As one of the Meeting’s collaborating media companies, Network Telecom exhibited its well-known magazine ”Network Telecom” as well as The competitiveness report on "the Top 10 competitiveness enterprises in the optical communications industry of China & Global market in 2015, which attracted wide attention from both exhibitors and the visitors in the telecommunications industry.
Sviaz 2016: Russia's Telecom Market Attracts Chinese Companies
97 Chinese companies take part in the International Exhibition for Information and Communications Technology Sviaz 2016 that runs from May 10 through 13 at Expocentre Fairgrounds. The Chinese national pavilion occupies over 1,400 sqm. The information was provided by Gong Xiaofeng, Chairman of Electronics & Information Industry Sub-Council of the China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT ECC), Director of the Center for International Economic and Technological Cooperation of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China.

From 17th to 18th in May, 2016, the annual FTTH Council Asia-Pacific Conference was held in Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. Huawei Boosts "Smart Home" Pilot Site with E2E Gigabit Access
The China's first "Smart Home" industry cooperation pilot site has opened up on May 17, 2016, the World Telecommunications Day. On this site, China Telecom (Shanghai) presets various smart home scenarios for persons in a down-to-earth style. Huawei, the major partner, shows an end-to-end solution from the pipeline platform to the smart terminal, which extends residential services "from walls to fingers".
