“The most innovative thing about 5G is what we'll do with it”: Orange launches its new campaign
Nokia and CNT bring first commercial 5G experience to Ecuador
Nokia today announced it has been selected by Ecuadorian mobile operator, Corporación Nacional de Telecommunicaciones (CNT) to bring the first 5G network to the country. The deal includes Nokia support CNT with the extensive network modernization of existing LTE infrastructure as well as the installation of a 5G non standalone (NSA) network. Deployment is underway.

The project encloses the modernization of existing 3G/LTE infrastructure in the provinces of Guayas, Los Rios, Manabi, Bolivar, Morona Santiago and Santa Elena, already implementing over 500 sites for a seamless migration to 5G services. Nokia will also deploy the first 5G non standalone (NSA) sites which will operate in the cities of Guayaquil and Manta. These first 5G sites will enable CNT to plan the services they want to launch with 5G.

John Stankey, chief executive officer of AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T), spoke Tuesday, Feb. 23 at the AT&T Policy Forum on the steps needed to make high-speed internet connections accessible, affordable and sustainable to more rural and low-income families.

Orange announces the opening of nine Orange 5G Labs to enable economic players to bring 5G uses to life
 According to an Orange study conducted with GlobalWebIndex, 72% of companies currently say they expect their operator to provide support regarding 5G to test, experiment and develop ahead of time. The Orange 5G Labs initiative meets this demand and aims to help economic players to better understand the opportunities, value and utility of 5G. There, they will be able to test their current solutions and services and think about new uses while taking advantage of an ecosystem to co-innovate and already start changing their business model and processes.

China Railway Express (Wuhan) FiberHome Customized Block Train First Launch
On the morning of January 26, 2021, the first China Railway Express (Wuhan) FiberHome customized block train departed from China Railway Union Wuhan Central Station and departed via Erlianhot. It is expected to arrive in Lodz, Poland in 18 days.It is reported that the block train is loaded with communication products produced by FiberHome, with a total quantity of 48 high containers, a cargo weight of more than 1,000 tons, and a cargo value of tens of millions of RMB.
